MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Moscow expresses condolences to Afghanistan over a traffic accident that killed 50 people, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on its website.
"Moscow has learned with great sorrow about the tragic traffic incident along the Kabul-Kandahar highway in Afghanistan, which claimed numerous lives in the early hours of December 19. According to the available data, a collision between passenger buses and a fuel truck killed over 50 people and left more than 70 injured," the statement reads.
"Russia extends its heartfelt sympathy to the Afghan people, offers its deepest condolences to the families and friends of those killed, and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured," the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
