Afghanistan’s terrorists continue to receive financial support from abroad — envoy to UN

According to Vasily Nebenzya, militants are strengthening their influence, committing new attacks

UNITED NATIONS, December 13. /TASS/. Terrorist groups in Afghanistan continue to receive financial support from abroad and actively use social networks to recruit fighters, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said at the UN Security Council meeting on the situation in Afghanistan.

"Militants are strengthening their influence, committing new terrorist attacks, the victims of which are representatives of religious and ethnic minorities, including women and children. Their goals remain the same: to undermine stability in Afghanistan and the region as a whole," the diplomat emphasized.
