MOSCOW, December 2. /TASS/. Russian forces struck Ukrainian military airfields and UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) control posts over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Monday.
"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck infrastructure of military airfields, power facilities supporting the operation of enterprises of Ukraine’s military-industrial sector, control posts of unmanned aerial vehicles and amassed enemy manpower and military equipment in 127 areas," the ministry said in a statement.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted roughly 35 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed three enemy artillery guns in its area of responsibility in the Kharkov Region over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the Kharkov direction, Battlegroup North units inflicted losses on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 92nd air assault brigade near the settlement of Liptsy in the Kharkov Region. They repelled three counterattacks by enemy assault groups," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 35 personnel, an armored personnel carrier, three motor vehicles, two 152mm D-20 howitzers and a 122mm D-30 howitzer, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicted roughly 490 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed four enemy ammunition depots in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup West units improved their tactical position and inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 14th, 53rd and 66th mechanized, 25th airborne, 68th jaeger, 109th and 241st territorial defense brigades near the settlements of Lozovaya, Kupyansk and Petropavlovka in the Kharkov Region, Serebryanka and Torskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Nadiya in the Lugansk People’s Republic and in the area of the Serebryanka forestry. They repelled nine counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 3rd armored, 116th mechanized, 113th territorial defense and 1st National Guard brigades," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 490 personnel, an infantry fighting vehicle, two armored combat vehicles, six pickup trucks, a US-made 155mm M198 howitzer and a British-made 105mm L119 howitzer, it specified.
In addition, Russian forces destroyed four ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted roughly 260 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed a US-made artillery gun and two enemy ammunition depots in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup South units gained more advantageous lines and positions and inflicted casualties on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 23rd, 54th and 110th mechanized, 46th airmobile, 79th air assault and 59th motorized infantry brigades in areas near the settlements of Andreyevka, Konstantinovka, Nikolayevka, Shevchenko, Grigorovka, Chasov Yar and Kurakhovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 260 personnel, three motor vehicles, a 122mm Gvozdika motorized artillery system and a US-made 105mm M119 artillery gun, it specified.
In addition, Russian forces destroyed two ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted more than 525 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed four enemy armored vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup Center units improved their frontline positions and inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 95th mechanized, 59th motorized infantry, 111th and 120th territorial defense, 14th and 15th National Guard brigades in areas near the settlements of Grodovka, Pustynka, Novy Trud, Vozdvizhenka, Dzerzhinsk and Zarya in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They repulsed nine counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 53rd, 100th and 151st mechanized brigades, 49th assault battalion, 35th and 38th marine infantry brigades," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to more than 525 personnel, four Kozak and US-made MaxxPro armored fighting vehicles, two pickup trucks, three 152mm Msta-B howitzers, a 152mm D-20 howitzer and three 122mm D-30 howitzers, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted roughly 150 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed a German-made Leopard tank in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup East units kept moving deeper into the enemy’s defenses and inflicted losses on formations of the Ukrainian army’s 151st mechanized and 108th territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Velikaya Novosyolka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Komsomolskoye in the Zaporozhye Region. They repelled two counterattacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 32nd mechanized brigade," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 150 personnel, a German-made Leopard tank, four US-made HMMWV and MaxxPro armored combat vehicles, 14 motor vehicles, a French-made 155mm Caesar self-propelled artillery system, a 155mm Bogdana self-propelled artillery gun and a 152mm Akatsiya motorized artillery system, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicted roughly 55 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy ammunition depot in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 31st and 110th mechanized and 124th territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye Region, Dneprovskoye and Beregovoye in the Kherson Region," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 55 personnel and two motor vehicles, it specified.
In addition, Russian forces destroyed an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army over the past 24 hours, it said.
Russian air defenses destroy 69 Ukrainian UAVs, HIMARS rocket over past day
Russian air defense forces shot down 69 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and a rocket of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Air defense capabilities shot down a rocket of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 69 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 649 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 37,082 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 surface-to-air missile systems, 19,590 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,497 multiple rocket launchers, 18,847 field artillery guns and mortars and 28,935 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
