Bank of Russia not setting task to maximize inflow of citizens to crypto market

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. The Bank of Russia is not setting the task for itself to bring as much citizens as possible to the market, department director Kirill Pronin said at the Cryptosummit 2026.

"We do not have the task set to make it so that as much as possible clients come and start operations with cryptocurrency. To be honest, we should do it so that there is a legal opportunity to work, but we, as a regulator, certainly do not have the task to replicate these services, offer all the clients, ‘Come and invest in cryptocurrency," Pronin said.
