MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. Russia’s Rassvet system similar to Starlink is still in its early stages, Russian President Vladimir Putin said while viewing an exhibition on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa summit, adding that its quality is high, and what remains is to launch the necessary number of satellites.
There are three dozen spacecraft in orbit now, he said. "This is only our first step. However, we are proud of having started doing it, and of having started doing it on our own," Putin noted.
"We have taken only the first step, though it is important that it has been taken. The quality is there. Now the task is to move from quality to quantity," he emphasized.
