MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. Moscow is not currently negotiating the return of American companies, specifically Chevron and ExxonMobil, to Russian oil and gas projects, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.
"Our position has always remained the same: we are open to foreign partners, foreign investment, and whether or not they will return depends on them, in the first place. No such negotiations are currently taking place," he said on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum.
Novak said earlier that Russia and the US could begin cooperating on liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects in the Arctic, as well as on the development of mineral deposits.
