US crude oil inventories fall by 3.2 mln barrels over week — Energy Department

The department noted that current inventories are 1% above the five-year average for this time of year

MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. US commercial crude oil inventories fell by 3.2 mln barrels over the week and stood at 424.1 mln barrels as of October 2, the US Department of Energy said.

The department noted that current inventories are 1% above the five-year average for this time of year.

As of 5:30 p.m. Moscow time, the price of Brent crude futures for December 2026 delivery on London’s ICE exchange was up 1.16% at $101.75 per barrel, while December WTI crude futures rose 0.41% to $89.81 per barrel.
