MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. The trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan surged by 20% as of the end of January - July 2026 and totaled about $7.5 bln, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said.
"Despite the difficulties in the global economy, the trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan continues demonstrating stable positive dynamics. According to our data, it surged by 20% during seven months of this year and totaled about $7.5 bln. It is particularly important that mutual trade is developing in both areas; both Russian exports and our imports from Uzbekistan are growing," Manturov said, cited by the Russian government.
Cooperation in the industrial infrastructure sphere is being proactively developed between the two countries at the same time, he stressed.
Denis Manturov and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Xodjayev held the 27th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
