MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Raspadskaya, Russia's largest coking coal producer, failed to fully meet its output target in 2024 as its total coal production edged down by 2% compared with the previous year to 18.5 mln tons, the company reported.
Moreover, sales fell by 11% in the reporting period to 12.9 mln tons from 14.5 mln tons in 2023 due to export restrictions amid mounting sanctions pressure, the report said.
In August 2024, the US Department of the Treasury put Raspadskaya on the sanctions list.
