GENEVA, December 20. /TASS/. Anticipated maximal costs of Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline repair in case of its future use will total 633 mln euro, Robert Bechler, a spokesman of Swiss-based Transliq AG acting as a temporary administrative receiver of Nord Stream 2 AG, told TASS.
This figure is indicated in an internal report prepared by the company, which assesses prospects of gas pipeline use in the future, he noted. All the grounds are in place to believe that the energy demand in West Europe will remain high, Bechler added.
The bankruptcy procedure for Nord Stream 2 AG, the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline operator, was extended until January 2025 in this June.
