Russian defense exports to India exceed $13 bln in past five years, says official

The 14th Aero India biennial air show will run in Bangalore on February 13-17

BANGALORE /India/, February 13. /TASS/. Russia’s defense exports to India exceeded $13 bln in the past five years, Director of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugayev told TASS ahead of the Aero India 2023 exhibition.

"Russia remains one of the key players on India's weapons market. In particular, the total value of Russian defense exports to India exceeded $13 billion in the past five years," he specified.

The 14th Aero India biennial air show will run in Bangalore on February 13-17. Russia, an active participant in Indian air shows, plans to showcase about 200 types of weapons and military equipment at this year’s event.
