Russia is winning technological race in Ukraine — The Daily Telegraph

LONDON, October 14. /TASS/. Russia "is winning the technological arms race" against Ukraine and its western partners, British newspaper The Daily Telegraph wrote.

The report says that Russia "succeeded in refining the materiel [equipment, weapons and supplies used by an institution or military force] required to beat Ukraine’s <…> air defenses."

As an example, the newspaper mentioned Russia’s Geran jet-powered drones that can "carry heavier payloads" and "reach top speeds of 375 mph" (600 kmph).

This makes them "immune to the interceptors Ukraine built to defeat their propeller-driven predecessors."

The report also says that Russia’s advanced drones are fitted with "mesh radios" that allow them to be guided on to moving targets.
