NEW YORK, October 13. /TASS/. US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have told Ukrainian representatives that they do not intend to offer anything in return for stopping attacks on Russian oil refineries, The New York Times quoted sources as saying.
When asked by a Ukrainian representative during Friday’s negotiations in Miami what Kiev would get in return, the US negotiators replied that Washington "was doing a lot for Ukraine already" and should not have to make a trade for Ukraine to stop its refinery attacks.
The newspaper’s sources added that some in the room heard Kushner’s and Witkoff’s words as a veiled threat. The US negotiators mentioned the American intelligence assistance considered vital for Ukraine.
On October 13, Vladimir Zelensky said Ukraine did not receive any notifications from the United States last night about the launch of Russian missiles.
