MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. The Kiev authorities need to end the military conflict in order to preserve Ukraine, former press secretary to Vladimir Zelensky Yulia Mendel said.

"The longer this war goes on, the more land Ukraine loses. Worse: we lose people," Mendel wrote on X. "End the war to keep Ukraine alive," she stressed.

Mendel also pointed to the difficult situation facing Ukrainian soldiers in the Dobropolye area in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

Earlier, she said Ukraine is dying and can recover only if it chooses peace, but its citizens do not see their own mistakes.
