WASHINGTON, March 14. /TASS/. Pentagon Press Secretary Patrick Ryder did not answer directly to a question of whether the United States would try to recover the wreckage of its MQ-9 from the Black Sea.
Washington believes that Russia has not yet obtained parts of the drone, intercepted by a Russian fighter jet above the Black Sea earlier on Tuesday.
"To my knowledge at this point in time, the Russians have not recovered that aircraft. But again, in terms of our recovery efforts, don't have any updates provide right now. I'd refer you to Navy in terms of what assets they may have in that region," the spokesman said.
