NEW YORK, April 4. /TASS/. Opponents of US ex-President Donald Trump, who is about to be indicted alter on Tuesday, hold a rally near the Trump Tower in Manhattan, according to a TASS reporter at the scene.

Traffic on the 5th Avenue, where the skyscraper is located, is limited, but not forbidden. From time to time, a truck decorated with flags and logos in Trump’s support passes before the building.

A small rally of Trump’s opponents has gathered on the nearby street, but the police do not interfere in the rally.

The police politely ask passers-by to move along; they also urge the reporters to move past the special barrier. It is impossible to come close to the building.

Trump arrived in New York on Monday, and will face the court on Tuesday. On March 30, the jury voted to indict Trump over forgery of Trump Organization financial papers when paying money to form porn actress Stormy Daniels. According to the investigation, lawyer Michael Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 in exchange for non-disclosure of Daniels’ alleged involvement with Trump in 2006 during his 2016 Presidential Campaign. Later, these expenses were compensated from the Trump Organization’s account, which required the forgery, the investigators believe.
