MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. The last 56 Russian specialists have returned from the Kourou cosmodrome in French Guiana, the Roscosmos press service said on Thursday.

"All Russian specialists have left the Guiana Space Center. The last 56 employees of the rocket and space industry of Russia who remained at the Kourou cosmodrome flew to Russia," the press service noted.

Prior to that, the first group of 29 Russian launch and rocket specialists returned to Moscow.

Previously, the CEO announced that Roscosmos suspended its cooperation with European partners on the organization of launches from the Guiana Space Center and was recalling its technical staff.

The EU has imposed harsh financial and technological sectoral restrictions against 64 key Russian structures, including the Progress rocket and space center, and significantly restricted these structures’ access to financial markets and services, technical aid, military or dual-use products, and oil drilling technologies for the Arctic. The EU also adopted an expansive list of high-tech products, including communication systems, electronics, semiconductors, aviation and space components, barred from shipping in Russia.
