Russia’s next spacewalk scheduled for April 20

According to the cosmonaut, a total of seven spacewalks are planned for the expedition, including those related to the integration of the European Robotic Arm

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. The next spacewalk (52nd scheduled) from the ISS under the Russian program is scheduled for April 20, the next - for April 28, cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev announced in an interview with Russian Space magazine.

"The first spacewalk is scheduled for April 20. And right after a week - on April 28 - the next one is planned," he said adding that the third spacewalk is scheduled for May.

According to the cosmonaut, a total of seven spacewalks are planned for the expedition, including those related to the integration of the European Robotic Arm.

Roscosmos cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Pyotr Dubrov, Oleg Artemiev, Denis Matveev and Sergey Korsakov, NASA astronauts Mark Vande Hei, Raja Chari, Tom Marshburn and Kayla Barron, as well as European Space Agency astronaut Matthias Maurer are currently on board the ISS.
