Nothing to negotiate with Western Europe regarding Ukraine now — senior diplomat

Mikhail Galuzin explained that the UK, Germany, and France are seeking to talk to Russia by means of ultimatums and senseless sanctions packages

MOSCOW, October 15. /TASS/. Russia has no intention of negotiating with Western Europeans on Ukraine since now there is nothing to discuss with them, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said.

"As a matter of fact, we do not intend to engage in any negotiations with Western Europeans. They are recklessly flooding the Kiev regime with weapons and money to carry out terrorist attacks against the Russian population, resist our armed forces, and inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. In doing so, they have demonstrated their hostility and unwillingness to negotiate. They are not inclined to seek a political and diplomatic resolution to the Ukrainian crisis by addressing its well-known root causes. They offer no constructive ideas, in essence, there is currently nothing to discuss with them," he said in an interview with the Izvestia daily.

He noted that the United Kingdom, Germany, and France are seeking to talk to Russia by means of ultimatums and senseless sanctions packages and "neither understand nor see that such pressure on Russia is futile."
