MOSCOW, September 20. /TASS/. The armed forces of Ukraine are plotting special operations aimed at disrupting the ongoing parliamentary vote in Russia, Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said.
"The strikes are getting intensified. There are specially prepared operations targeting the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk [DPR and LPR], and they [the Ukrainian armed forces] have concentrated a significant amount of forces on them. They are either already trying, or about to try to disrupt the vote or somehow affect the voting process both during the election campaign and during the vote itself because they are unable to affect the outcome of the elections," the diplomat said.
