All 633 polling stations open in DPR

Regional Election Commission Chairman Vladimir Vysotsky said that operations are proceeding as normal

DONETSK, September 18. /TASS/. All 633 polling stations for the State Duma elections have opened in the Donetsk People’s Republic, with operations proceeding as normal, regional Election Commission Chairman Vladimir Vysotsky told TASS on Friday.

"All 633 polling stations have opened in the DPR. Operations are proceeding as normal. Mobile teams are also working," Vysotsky said.

Early voting took place in the region from August 30 to September 17. Military personnel were the first to vote, followed by civilians starting September 8. According to preliminary data as of September 17, at least 1 million people had already cast their vote, accounting for around 75% of eligible voters.
