UNITED NATIONS, February 10. /TASS/. Russia suggested establishing a position of a special representative of the UN Secretary-General for small business development issues, special envoy of the Russian Federation for relations with international organizations Boris Titov told TASS.
"We focused attention on this matter and suggested creating a [small business protection] institute within the UN framework, which would work purposefully for development of this area specifically, and suggested creating [a post of] a special representative of the secretary-general for small business development," Titov said.
The idea has not encountered any objections but requires further consideration for the formal approval of the mechanism, the envoy said.
