Shoigu orders to add firepower to Russia's Black Sea Fleet for downing enemy drones

MOSCOW, March 17. /TASS/. While inspecting troops of the Southern Military District, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu ordered to install additional firepower on Black Sea Fleet war ships to strike enemy drones, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The Russian defense minister ordered additional firepower, including large-caliber machine guns, to hit enemy drones," the ministry said.

Also, the Russian defense chief gave orders to conduct training, day and night, for the personnel of the Black Sea Fleet to repel air raids and attacks using unmanned motor boats. Shoigu urged efforts to improve the survivability of Black Sea vessels.
