MOSCOW, October 13. /TASS/. Last night’s drone attack on Moscow became one of the largest this year, according to calculations by TASS based on official data from the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergey Sobyanin.
According to the official, between 8:30 p.m. Moscow time (5:30 p.m. GMT) on October 12 and 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 a.m. GMT) on Tuesday, 417 UAVs flew toward the Moscow Region. "Air defenses neutralized most of those on the distant approaches," Sobyanin wrote on his Max channel.
The largest ever enemy drone attack was repelled on the night of September 19 when air defenses downed more than 1,600 UAVs, of them 450 targeting Moscow, Sobyanin said.
