KRASNODAR, October 6. /TASS/. The concentration of contaminating substances in the Sirius Federal Territory remains within the maximum permissible levels despite the fire aboard an oil tanker in the Black Sea nearby, Sirius head Dmitry Plishkin said.
Earlier, the Russian transport ministry reported that the Aframax Rio tanker was attacked by unmanned surface vessels of the Black Sea coast. As a result, an open oil fire is currently occurring.
"According to air quality monitoring data, pollutant concentrations in the Sirius federal territory remain multiple times below maximum permissible concentrations (MPC) and pose no health threat," the statement reads.
