ST. PETERSBURG, May 3. /TASS/. Air defenses destroyed eight more drones in the Leningrad Region, Governor Alexander Drozdenko wrote on Max.

"Forty-three drones were shot down in the Leningrad Region for the time being. Combat operations continue. Air defense forces and assets are thwarting a large-scale enemy attack," the governor said.

Thirty-five drones were destroyed in the region earlier, Drozdenko said.
