MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. The dollar exchange rate in the Russian interbank market has remained below 80 rubles for the second consecutive day, according to trading data.

On the previous day the dollar exchange rate declined below 80 rubles, reaching that level for the first time since August 4, 2026.

As of 9:42 a.m. Moscow time (6:42 a.m. GMT) the dollar exchange rate was down by 50.01 kopecks at 79.995 rubles. Meanwhile the euro exchange rate in the Russian interbank market was down by 67.2 kopecks at 89.138 rubles.
