"I would like to note that Russia is one of the most reliable food security guarantors in the African continent. More than forty African nations are already receiving Russian fertilizers and grain," Putin said.

Russia is "ready to further expand the geography of supplies" of agricultural commodities to the African continent, the head of state added.
