MOSCOW, October 8. /TASS/. Mozambique invites Russian companies to take part in construction of hydropower plants, Ambassador of Mozambique to Russia Jose Mateus Muaria Katupha told TASS.

Rosneft and Gazprom are already partnering with Mozambique in the oil and gas sphere, the ambassador said. They cooperate with the Mozambique’s national exploration company Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH).

"We look forward to having many more, especially in the area of production of fertilizers. And I know that the area that most Russian companies are interested in, this area of mining, mineral resources, and also in the area of reproduction of energy. And therefore, we are inviting Russian companies to participate in the process of building hydropower energy in Mozambique," he stressed.
