MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Russian companies are ready to ramp up energy supplies to Myanmar, Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said at a plenary session of the 6th Russian-Myanmar Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
"Joint business missions have confirmed that Russian companies are ready to increase supplies of energy resources, vehicles, grain, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications equipment, as well as to launch meat product deliveries," Reshetnikov said.
He also noted growing imports from Myanmar to Russia, primarily fruits, rice, coffee, and spices.
"In August, during President Min Aung Hlaing's visit to Russia, the Myanmar business community organized an exhibition at the forum. Our retailers have already submitted inquiries regarding the goods they wish to purchase," Reshetnikov added.
