Putin orders to refocus metals export to promising markets

The head of state also suggested holding a separate meeting on the eastern range of railways

MOSCOW, April 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to clarify destinations for export of Russian metal products and refocus them to dynamic markets.

"Export destinations of the Russian metals sector should be updated, with flows refocusing to promising, dynamic markets," the President said at the meeting on the situation in the metals sector.

"It is clear that much depends on development of transport infrastructure in this regard," the head of state noted. "I suggest holding a separate meeting on the eastern range of railways," Putin said. It is obvious that implementation of this project should be ahead of schedule in the current environment, the Russian leader added.
