DONETSK, January 16. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military shelled populated areas in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) seven times on January 16, firing a total of 41 shells of various caliber, the DPR mission to the Joint Control and Coordination Center on Ukraine’s War Crimes reported on Monday.
From 1:40 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Moscow time, the Ukrainian military bombarded four DPR localities. In particular, the Kiev regime’s troops fired 11 155mm NATO-standard shells on Donetsk, eight 155mm munitions on Makeyevka and another six projectiles of the same caliber on Gorlovka. In addition, the Ukrainian military fired a total of 16 shells from heavy 152mm artillery guns on Zaitsevo and Makeyevka, the mission said on its Telegram channel.
The Donetsk military commandant’s office told TASS earlier on Monday that two civilians were killed and another four were wounded in the city as a result of the Ukrainian army’s shelling.
