UNITED NATIONS, December 23. /TASS/. UN cannot confirm information released by Amnesty International on the numerous civilian casualties allegedly resultant from the Russian Aerospace Forces' airstrikes in Syria, the UN deputy spokesperson for the Secretary General, told reporters on Wednesday.

Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is alarmed by the information revealed in the report and he urges all the parties to combat operations in Syria to respect international humanitarian law, Haq said.
