LUHANSK, July 11. /ITAR-TASS/. The Ukrainian army is using subversive mobile groups to launch fire attacks at residential areas, enterprises and medical institutions in Luhansk, the website of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic reports.
The building of the East Ukrainian Bank and the Luhansk clinic for early treatment of oncology diseases came under mortar fire in the first half of the day on Friday. The splinters killed four civilians who were standing nearby.
The subverters are firing at the main railway station in Luhansk. A mine hit a building close to the railway at around 1pm local time.
At least three people died and two were wounded during the shelling of the location of the Zarya militia battalion.
Subversive groups could be seen in the city center and later on a street adjacent to the airport in the Vidnoye settlement.
Two Ukrainian aircraft attacked the town of Perevalsk on Friday morning. The self-defense forces shot down an army assault plane near Stepanovka village.
On midday, the Ukrainian army started shooting at positions of the self-defense forces near the Teplichnoye village. The Luhansk people’s army returned fire from a Grad multiple rocket launcher. The army positions of the Luhansk People’s Republic near Aleksandrovka village also came under dense fire.
The Ukrainian army delivered a mortar strike at the Yekaterinovka village last night. The mine hit a shop building while the splinters pierced a gas pipe.
Ukrainian planes bombarded the town of Krasny Partizank at 3am on Friday morning. On Thursday evening, the Right Sector fighters (dressed in black uniforms) shot at a bus with miners, killing four people and wounding sixteen. The bodies of 17 dead civilians were brought to the local morgue after intensive shelling on Thursday.
The Ukrainian aviation delivered an air strike at the city of Krasnodon at 5.30am on Friday morning. The bombs hit the territory of a local enterprise. Two people died. One woman had her legs torn off by the explosion. The number of those wounded is being clarified.
More than 30 servicemen who had participated in the military operation in eastern Ukraine were killed in the village of Zelenopolye in the Donetsk region on Friday, the Ukrainian Interior Minister's adviser Zoryan Shkiryak told a briefing.
