Russian television channels turned off in Donetsk

The opponents of the Kiev regime seized the television centre on April 27 and restored Russian broadcasts which had been suspended earlier

DONETSK, May 03. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian television channels have been turned off in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, again.

On Friday, the supporters of federalisation built barricades in front of the regional television centre to “protect television which is broadcasting Russian channels”.

“Analogue television has been broadcasting four Russian channels for several days. To keep it this way and make sure that people get truthful information, television must be protected,” Yuri Litovets, representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, said.

The opponents of the Kiev regime seized the television centre on April 27 and restored Russian broadcasts which had been suspended earlier.

Now Russian channels are no longer available again.
