US seeks to address security concerns of all sides in talks — Trump’s son-in-law

The US President "has made achieving peace a priority," Jared Kushner said

WASHINGTON, November 6. /TASS/. The Washington administration seeks to address the security interests of all sides in consultations on resolving the Ukraine conflict, US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner said.

"Our objective is to address the security concerns of all sides through practical, mutually agreed arrangements that reduce the risk of future conflict," he wrote on X.

"Next week in Abu Dhabi, the United States will convene the first trilateral peace discussions with Ukraine and Russia since February. We have been working with both parties to develop serious proposals that can make the discussions as substantive and productive as possible," Kushner added.

According to him, the US president "has made achieving peace a priority." "Our focus is on doing the difficult, detailed work necessary to turn that objective into a comprehensive and durable agreement," Kushner pointed out.

Reuters reported on November 2 that Kushner and US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff were expected to represent the United States at trilateral talks with Russia and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Witkoff that Moscow was prepared to resume trilateral negotiations on settling the Ukraine conflict.
