WASHINGTON, December 4. /TASS/. The US government must get involved in resolving domestic issues instead of interfering in Belarusian affairs, the republic’s embassy in the US said in a statement made available to TASS.

"The US regime would be better off dealing with its own ubiquitous internal problems and flagrant human rights abuses widely recognized by reputable international Human Rights Organizations and by honest US politicians," Belarusian diplomats said.

The embassy noted that Minsk resolutely rejects Washington’s attempts to meddle in its domestic affairs by holding a "second strategic dialog" with opposition members residing outside Belarus. Earlier, the US Department of State reported holding such a meeting in Vilnius on Wednesday where human rights violations by the Belarusian authorities alleged by the West were discussed. "Calls, observations, condemnations, discussions of ‘the participants’ handpicked by the Biden regime are meaningless, futile, and irrelevant," the diplomatic mission emphasized.
