WASHINGTON, December 4. /TASS/. The US Department of the Treasury has expanded its sanctions lists for Russia, adding five individuals and five legal entities, according to the department's updated list.
The restrictions affected three Russian citizens, a Latvian citizen, and a Ukrainian citizen. The lists included entities from the US, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the UAE, as well as a company with offices in London, Moscow, Riga, Singapore, and Istanbul.
As head of the US State Department press service, Matthew Miller, said in a statement, the individuals sanctioned are associated with the international network TGR Group, which, according to the US authorities, allegedly was "engaged in sanctions circumvention on behalf of Russian elites." Miller said the sanctions were taken in coordination with the UK's National Crime Agency.
