BISHKEK, April 4. /TASS/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov has said that he would visit the US in the middle of April where he would explain that the country could not stop trade and economic relations with Russia.
"I’m going to have a number of meetings in April. Literally on [April] 14 and 20 there will be a big presentation of the Kambar-Ata-1 [Hydroelectric Power Plant] in Washington, there I will try to explain the situation that we cannot fully stop our trade and economic relations with the Russian Federation, it is our strategic partner," he said.
Western countries are aware of the fact that Kyrgyzstan and Russia are in the single economic space, Japarov added. "We are in the single economic space. We receive almost $2.5 bln from our migrants per year. Our Western partners are aware of that," he noted.
