BAKU, March 6. /TASS/. Moscow-Baku relations have reached a significantly higher level, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who is visiting the Azerbaijani capital.

"We retained all good traditions that have been uniting our peoples for decades, independently from the socio-political dimension within which we interacted. Our friendly ties have always been the basis for interstate relations. And, as of today, our relations have reached a new level both in their form and content. So, our peoples support this process as well," Aliyev said.

He expressed confidence that this year will bring significant results for bilateral relations, just as 2023 did. "Our aligned interaction will strengthen for our countries and peoples. It is the condition for regional stability and security as well," the Azerbaijani leader emphasized.
