MOSCOW, April 28. /TASS/. Moscow has evidence about preparations by the Kiev regime, the United States and the West collectively for a major cyber provocation against Russia, the country’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on Thursday.
"The Kiev regime, the US and the West, including NATO and EU institutions, collectively have started preparations for a major cyber provocation. We have been getting the evidence," she said.
Earlier, Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister and Digital Transformation Minister Mikhail Fedorov said in an interview with the Spanish El Pais newspaper that "the world’s first cyber army composed of around 300,000 technicians has been formed." Kiev is behind more than 660 cyberattacks on Russian and Belarusian companies and institutions, he said.
"This is the first time a UN member-country has openly showed cyber aggression and declared war with the use of information technologies on other countries," the diplomat said.
Actually, the world is coming to witness a Makhnovist hacking rampage at the heart of Europe, Zakharova said. "The architects and masterminds of the concept <...> should understand that these cyber warriors won’t stop where the Kiev regime would want them to, and will go beyond targeting the savings of companies and individuals, and they won’t surely stop at Russia and Belarus alone. Nothing can stop them in this sense. They will go further to target other countries with their criminal activity", the diplomat said.
