TASS, March 5. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said that it will be possible to decide on the further course of talks with Russia only after the evacuation of civilians on March 5.

"We are doing our best to make this agreement work. This is one of the main tasks for today. Let’s see if we can go further in the negotiation process," Zelensky said in a video message on his Telegram channel on Saturday.

The evacuation of residents from Mariupol and Volnovakha is scheduled for March 5. The humanitarian corridors have been agreed with the Ukrainian side. In particular, the evacuation from Mariupol towards Novoazovsk was going to start at 12:00 Moscow time. However, in the morning, the city authorities said that they planned to evacuate people to Zaporozhye. Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin believes that this direction is unsafe, since nationalists stage provocations there. No official reports about launching evacuation have not been received yet.
