Red Square, synagogue considered as targets by Crocus terrorist attack perpetrators

According to the accused Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev’s lawyer, the perpetrators reconnoitered these places before attacking the Crocus mall

MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. Four perpetrators of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall near Moscow had considered other targets, too, including the Red Square and a synagogue in Moscow’s downtown, Oleg Vlasov, the accused Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev’s lawyer, told TASS.

"They visited the Red Square, were near a synagogue located close to the Chistye Prudy metro station, as well as in the MEGA Belaya Dacha shopping mall. There, they evaluated the situation, considered the possibility of carrying out a terrorist attack in these locations," he said. According to the lawyer, they would also reconnoiter these places before attacking the Crocus mall, so that it would be easier for them to carry out their plan later.
