LONDON, October 5. /TASS/. Two Moscow restaurants - the White Rabbit and the Twins Garden - were included in the Top 50 best restaurants of the world, according to the The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy. The restaurants took 25th and 30th places, accordingly.
According to the Academy, the White Rabbit is the best restaurant in Moscow "with a spectacular 360-degree view of Moscow from its 16th-floor dining room," and a place "to come for [chef] Vladimir Mukhin’s inventive cuisine using Russian ingredients."
The concept of the Twins Garden, according to the Academy, is that 70% of all ingredients used is being provided by the farm of twin chefs Ivan and Sergey Berezutskiy, while the leftovers are sent back to feed the animals, "making this an almost zero-waste operation." Besides, the restaurant has one of the largest wine lists.
The first and the second places in the rating belong to the Noma and the Geranium, both located in Copenhagen, while the third goes to the Asador Etxebarri in Spain’s Atxondo.
The World's 50 Best Restaurants rating has been established in 2002. It is based on assessments provided by over 1,000 culinary experts. The awarding ceremony took place on October 5 in Antwerp, following a one-year hiatus due to the Covid pandemic.
