Russian cosmonauts to conduct spacewalk on April 19 — Roscosmos

As the space agency reported earlier, Prokopyev and Petelin will conduct several spacewalks in spring/summer of this year to complete the integration of the Nauka multipurpose laboratory module

MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. Russian cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitry Petelin who is also a TASS special reporter in space are set to conduct a spacewalk from the International Space Station (ISS) on April 19, Roscosmos announced on Monday.

"In the period of April 7-9, the following measures were implemented under the program of the flight of the [ISS] Russian segment: preparations for a spacewalk (spacewalk 56) under the Russian program scheduled for April 19," Roscosmos said in a statement.

As Roscosmos reported earlier, Prokopyev and Petelin will conduct several spacewalks in spring/summer of this year to complete the integration of the Nauka multipurpose laboratory module. Prokopyev earlier said that that the crew of the ISS Russian segment was actively preparing for extravehicular activity.
