MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. Russian Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin has ordered the committee’s Main Investigative Department to make a legal assessment of remarks by Boris Filatov, the mayor of the Ukrainian city of Dnepr, who called for the killing of Russians around the world, the committee said in a statement.
"The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee has been ordered to open a criminal case and carry out the entire range of the necessary investigative activities," the statement reads.
The mayor earlier posted a tweet calling for the killing of Russian nationals all over the world.
