Zelensky regime must be held accountable for war crimes — Russian diplomat

The regime’s militants opened Pandora’s box by launching massive attacks on civilian facilities, Rodion Miroshnik pointed out

GENEVA, October 1. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky’s regime has committed widespread war crimes and must be held accountable, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said at a briefing following his participation in the 63rd session of the UN Human Rights Council.

"The regime’s militants opened Pandora’s box by launching massive attacks on civilian facilities that had not previously faced such targeted and systematic strikes. Civilian transport routes and vehicles, warehouse complexes belonging to civilian online marketplaces, hotels and recreation facilities, and medical and educational institutions have become targets of systematic attacks," he said. "Confident of Western protection and support, the Zelensky regime disregarded every restraint and openly embarked on widespread war crimes and an escalation of terror against civilians," the diplomat pointed out.

"The regime must be held accountable for this," Miroshnik stressed.
