MOSCOW, March 1. /TASS/. The issue of discussion of an attack on the Crimean Bridge by high-ranking German officers will be reviewed at the nearest Russian State Duma meeting, Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said on his Telegram channel. The recording of this discussion was published earlier.

"After the deputies return from the regions, where they stay until March 11, we will discuss this issue at a State Duma meeting," Volodin said.

The Duma Speaker also considers it right to "send a demand for an investigation to the Bundestag." According to Volodin, "the fact of publication of the conversation obliges the German leadership to provide an explanation."

Volodin specified that the official Berlin must explain "what German decision the Bundeswehr staff was guided by while discussing the strikes at Russia," whether they will be punished and how, and whether the Bundestag lawmakers are aware of that and whether German Chancellor Olaf Scholz realizes that "these actions will require Russia to carry out reciprocal strikes."

Previously, RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan said that, on the day when Scholz announced that NATO is neither involved nor will be involved in the Ukrainian conflict, high-ranking German officers discussed an option to attack the Crimean Bridge without consequences for German authorities. According to Simonyan, an audio recording proves it.
