As the Russian leader said, those who drag European countries, including Germany, into a new war with Russia apparently do not understand that a modern war with Russia will be quite different for them

VOLGOGRAD, February 2. /TASS/. Russia has many friends in the world despite the efforts of pro-Western propaganda, the country’s President Vladimir Putin said.

"We know that despite the efforts of the official, venal in nature propaganda of Western elites unfriendly to us, we have many friends all over the world, including on the American continent, in North America and Europe," the Russian head of state said on Thursday at a gala concert marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad.

He noted that "those who drag European countries, including Germany, into a new war with Russia, and even more irresponsibly declare it as a fait accompli, those who expect to defeat Russia on the battlefield, apparently do not understand that a modern war with Russia will be quite different for them."
