MOSCOW, December 1. /TASS/. Russia never shies away from meetings with foreign leaders, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a press conference on European security issues on Thursday.

When asked by an American reporter whether a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Joe Biden could ever take place, he said, "We have repeatedly said - and Putin and I have said, too - that we never shun dialogue. When [German Chancellor Olaf] Scholz wanted to come, we let him. We said `welcome’ to [French President Emmanuel] Macron when he sought a visit. And anyone who wishes to hold a telephone conversation has the opportunity to do so - our president communicates with everyone without any time constraints."
